Terms and Conditions


Organiser: SPH Media Limited (“Organiser”)
Campaign: Shop & Win 2026 – Mid Year Edition (“Campaign”)
Campaign Period: 1 July 2026 to 31 August 2026

Participation in the Campaign is subject to the terms and conditions set out below (“Campaign T&Cs”) and the Organiser’s Contests & Lucky Draw Terms and Conditions available at https://www.sph.com.sg/tnc/contests_luckydraws/ (collectively, “T&Cs”). In the event of any inconsistency between the two sets of T&Cs, these Campaign T&Cs shall prevail. By participating in the Campaign, participants agree to be bound by and comply with the T&Cs, including any amendments thereto.

1. Eligibility

1.1 The Campaign is open to all residents of Singapore aged 18 years and above at the time of participation.

1.2 Employees of the Organiser and its affiliates, agencies and participating sponsors, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate in the Campaign.

1.3 The Organiser reserves the right to verify and determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, the eligibility of all participants. Entries that do not meet the eligibility criteria may be disqualified.

1.4 If at any time the Organiser determines that a participant has breached the T&Cs, provided false or misleading information, or does not meet the eligibility criteria, the Organiser may disqualify the participant and forfeit, withhold, reclaim or recover any prize won through the Campaign, or the value thereof.

2. How to Participate

2.1 To qualify for the Grand Lucky Draw, participants must spend a minimum of S$30 in a single receipt at a participating outlet during the Campaign Period (each, a “Valid Receipt”).

2.2 Participants will receive one (1) Lucky Draw chance for every S$30 spent in a single Valid Receipt.

2.3 The maximum number of Lucky Draw chances awarded for any single Valid Receipt is fifty (50) chances.

2.4 Multiple entries are permitted. Participants may submit as many unique Valid Receipts as they wish during the Campaign Period.

2.5 SPH subscribers are entitled to triple (3x) the number of Lucky Draw chances earned from eligible Valid Receipts.

2.6 To enjoy the SPH subscriber bonus, participants must submit their entry using the same email address registered to their active SPH subscription account. The Organiser reserves the right to verify subscriber status and may reject or adjust bonus chances where subscriber status cannot be verified.

2.7 Valid Receipts must be uploaded via the official Campaign microsite within the Campaign Period.

2.8 As part of the submission, participants are required to provide:

  •       Full name;
  •       Valid email address. SPH subscribers must use the email address registered to their SPH account to enjoy triple chances;
  •       Mobile number; and
  •       A clear image of the Valid Receipt showing the store name, transaction date and transaction amount.

2.9 Incomplete, inaccurate or illegible information provided in any submission may result in disqualification of the entry.

2.10 The following receipts are not valid and may result in disqualification:

  •       Duplicate, refunded, cancelled or exchanged receipts;
  •       Unclear or incomplete receipts;
  •       Credit card or NETS slips; and
  •       Handwritten invoices.

2.11 Participants must retain the original Valid Receipts for verification throughout the Campaign Period and until completion of prize verification. Failure to produce an original receipt upon request may result in disqualification.

3. Qualifying Period and Draw Date

3.1 The Campaign consists of one (1) Grand Lucky Draw.

3.2 The qualifying period is 1 July 2026 to 31 August 2026. The Grand Lucky Draw will be conducted on 10 September 2026.

4. Draw Mechanics

4.1 All valid entries will be entered into an electronic randomised draw system. The draw will be conducted by or on behalf of the Organiser in accordance with the Organiser’s applicable draw procedures.

4.2 The Grand Lucky Draw will be conducted based on entries received during the qualifying period specified in Clause 3.2.

4.3 Each participant may win only one (1) prize from the Grand Lucky Draw during the Campaign.

5.2 Grand Prize – One (1) Dongfeng Car Sponsored by Volt Auto

The Grand Prize comprises one (1) Dongfeng car (the “Prize Car”) sponsored by Volt Auto Pte. Ltd. (“Volt Auto”). The model, variant, specifications and colour of the Prize Car shall be determined by Volt Auto at its sole discretion. Images used in Campaign materials are for illustration purposes only and the actual Prize Car may differ from images shown.

5.2.1 Exclusions

Unless otherwise expressly stated, the Prize Car does not include the following costs, all of which shall be borne solely by the winner of the Prize Car (the “Prize Car Winner”):

  •       Certificate of Entitlement (“COE”);
  •       Vehicle Emissions Scheme (“VES”) surcharge, if applicable;
  •       servicing programme;
  •       motor vehicle insurance;
  •       road tax;
  •       IU or OBU installation, as applicable;
  •       number plates;
  •       Goods and Services Tax (“GST”);
  •       registration and administrative fees;
  •       any additional fittings, fixtures or accessories other than those provided by Volt Auto at its sole discretion; and
  •       any other incidental costs associated with the registration, ownership or collection of the Prize Car.

An administrative fee of S$4,500, or such other prevailing amount prescribed by Volt Auto, shall apply where Volt Auto undertakes the COE bidding and registration of the Prize Car on behalf of the Prize Car Winner.

Where the Prize Car Winner elects not to finance the COE through Volt Auto or intends to use his or her own COE, an administrative fee of S$3,000 shall apply.

5.2.2 Notification and Acceptance

The Organiser will notify the Prize Car Winner using the mobile number and/or email address submitted in the winning entry. The Prize Car Winner must respond in accordance with the Organiser’s instructions within seven (7) days from the date of notification.

If the Prize Car Winner fails to respond within this period, fails to satisfy the eligibility requirements, or is otherwise disqualified under these Campaign T&Cs, the Organiser may forfeit the Prize Car without compensation and select a replacement winner from the reserve winner(s) drawn.

5.2.3 Registration and Collection

Before claiming and taking delivery of the Prize Car, the Prize Car Winner must fulfil all requirements imposed by Volt Auto in relation to the registration and delivery of the Prize Car, including:

  •       obtaining the requisite COE and registering the Prize Car through Volt Auto;
  •       obtaining valid motor vehicle insurance for the Prize Car through Volt Auto and/or its appointed insurance partner(s); and
  •       paying all applicable charges, fees, taxes and other amounts associated with the Prize Car.

Where the Prize Car Winner requests Volt Auto to bid for a COE on his or her behalf, the request shall be subject to Volt Auto’s prevailing terms and conditions, including payment of the applicable COE bidding deposit, currently S$10,000 or such other amount as may be prescribed by Volt Auto from time to time, together with applicable GST.

All amounts payable by the Prize Car Winner to Volt Auto in connection with the Prize Car must be paid in full before collection. Volt Auto shall have no obligation to register the Prize Car in the name of any person other than the Prize Car Winner.

5.2.4 Changes in Rebates and Charges

If any rebate or incentive applicable to the Prize Car, including any VES or EV Early Adoption Incentive (“EEAI”), is removed or reduced before or on the date on which the Prize Car Winner signs the winner acknowledgement form (the “Claim Date”), Volt Auto may require the Prize Car Winner to pay an amount equivalent to such reduction or removal before the Prize Car is registered or delivered.

5.2.5 Collection Period and Forfeiture

The Prize Car Winner must complete the registration requirements and take delivery of the Prize Car, or notify Volt Auto in writing of his or her intention to forfeit the Prize Car, within two (2) months from the Claim Date.

If the Prize Car Winner does not take delivery within this period, Volt Auto may impose reasonable storage charges at its prevailing rates. If the Prize Car Winner fails to take delivery within three (3) months from the Claim Date for any reason, the Prize Car shall be forfeited without compensation and without further notice.

The Organiser may select a replacement winner from the reserve winner(s), where applicable.

5.2.6 Restrictions and Additional Conditions

The Prize Car is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other item, is not transferable or assignable to another person, and may not be traded in, exchanged or sold back to Volt Auto or any of its related corporations.

The Prize Car Winner must present such identification and documentation as may reasonably be required by the Organiser and/or Volt Auto for verification, registration and collection of the Prize Car.

The Prize Car Winner must comply with all reasonable instructions and requirements imposed by Volt Auto in connection with the registration and delivery of the Prize Car. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Prize Car.

Any tax liability arising from the Prize Car shall be borne solely by the Prize Car Winner.

To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser and Volt Auto, including their respective related corporations, officers, employees and directors, shall not be liable for losses, claims or liabilities arising from the forfeiture, registration, collection, ownership or use of the Prize Car, except to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

5.3 Prize Providers

The prizes are sponsored and/or provided by Harvey Norman, King Koil, Simmons and Volt Auto (collectively, the “Prize Providers”).

5.4 General Prize Conditions

Except where expressly stated otherwise in these Campaign T&Cs:

  •       all prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash, whether in whole or in part;
  •       all prizes are subject to availability;
  •       the Organiser reserves the right to replace, withdraw, add to or substitute any prize with another prize of similar value where reasonably necessary; and
  •       the redemption, collection and use of each prize shall be subject to any additional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant Prize Provider.

For the avoidance of doubt, the specific terms relating to the Prize Car in Clause 5.2 shall prevail over the general prize provisions in this Clause 5.4 in the event of any inconsistency.

5.5 Unclaimed Prizes

Except for the Prize Car, which is subject to the specific claim and forfeiture provisions in Clause 5.2, all other prizes that remain unclaimed or unredeemed one (1) month after the prize announcement shall be forfeited without compensation.

The Organiser reserves the right to deal with any unclaimed or forfeited prize in such manner as it considers appropriate, including selecting a replacement winner where applicable.

6. Winner Notification and Verification

6.1 Except for the Prize Car, which is subject to Clause 5.2.2, winners will be notified within fourteen (14) working days after the Grand Lucky Draw by phone and/or email.

6.2 Winners must acknowledge receipt of the notification and redeem or collect their prizes by the stipulated date stated in the prize notification issued by the Organiser.

6.3 Failure to claim or redeem a prize by the stipulated date shall result in forfeiture of the prize without compensation, subject to any specific prize terms stated in Clause 5.

6.4 The Organiser reserves the right to deal with any unclaimed or forfeited prize in any manner it deems fit, including selecting an alternate winner where applicable.

6.5 Winners may be required to attend a prize presentation ceremony and/or provide proof of identity for verification purposes.

6.6 By accepting a prize, winners agree that the Organiser may publish their names, photographs and likenesses for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, subject to applicable law.

7. General

7.1 The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of tampering with the entry process, submitting fraudulent or duplicate receipts, or engaging in conduct that breaches these T&Cs.

7.2 To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or expense incurred by participants arising from participation in the Campaign or the redemption and/or use of prizes.

7.3 The Organiser is not responsible for entries not successfully completed or submitted due to a technical fault of any kind, including technical malfunctions, computer hardware or software failures, and satellite, network or server failures.

7.4 The Organiser is not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, technical disruptions or government regulations.

7.5 The Organiser reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Campaign and/or these Campaign T&Cs at any time without prior notice, subject to applicable law.

7.6 All decisions made by the Organiser relating to the Campaign are final and binding. No correspondence, including queries and appeals, will be entertained, except where required by law.

8. Data Protection and Governing Law

8.1 By participating in the Campaign, participants agree that personal data submitted may be collected, used and/or disclosed by the Organiser and its affiliates (“SPH Media Group”), the Campaign sponsors and relevant Prize Providers for the purpose of administering the Campaign, including contacting winners, verifying identity, facilitating prize fulfilment, and publicising and marketing the Campaign, including featuring winners across media and platforms. Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Organiser’s privacy policy, as amended from time to time, available at https://www.sph.com.sg/tnc/privacy/.

8.2 The Campaign and these T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

8.3 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Campaign shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
